Live Music is a staple in our mountain town. Hearing the roar of funk, electronic, bluegrass, rock, and hip hop bounce off the mountain walls is a regular occurrence. Because of this, you can be sure to find live music on your next vacation if you know where to look!
Of the many shows coming up this month, some of the best local favorites include The Soul Rebels as part of the Bud Light Hi-Fi Concert Series and several shows at the Belly Up. Bud Light Hi-Fi Series
The Bud Light Hi-Fi Series is a free event this winter including four Concerts. Kicking it off with some soul on February 25th is The Soul Rebels. This feel-good, groovy band of eight will have you dancing the night away. Based out of New Orleans, The Soul Rebels are the perfect way to celebrate Mardi Gras. Join them in Snowmass Base Village at 4:30 pm (their opener, VTG ft. Garland, will begin at 3:30).
Belly Up
The Belly Up is the most intimate and popular concert venue around. They bring in all sorts of acts from live music to theater and comedy. This month, they have several live acts including Lupe Fiasco, Lil Smokies, and STS9 to name a few. Check out each of these unique artists below and book your ticket today! Lupe Fiasco is a Grammy Award winning American rapper known as a visionary in his work. On top of this, he is an entrepenuer, record producer, and advocate for impoverished communities working to bring creative opportunities to the streets. His upbeat tunes will have you loose in your dance shoes this February the 9th.
The Lil Smokies have the energy of a rock band with the influence of the 70s. This blugrass traveling band willl keep the night rolling with classic hit songs done up in unique ways and some of their own creative masterpieces. It is a sound that is familiar and yet unique. Enjoy the liveliness of summer Bluegrass this winter with Lil Smokies on February 12th.
