What do mountains and music have in common? In my opinion, they create the making for the most stunning concert experience called Jazz Aspen Snowmass (JAS) Festival. Spend Labor Day weekend in Snowmass/Aspen as the annual Jazz Aspen Snowmass kicks off Friday, August 30th.
Experience three days soaking up the Colorado sunshine, breathtaking views, hikes galore and restaurants to divine over. Then, head to the stage area in Snowmass Village where music kicks off Friday night at 6 p.m. with Portugal, The Man. At 8 pm Weezer will headline the night playing an incredible show as the sun sets over the most majestic mountain views
Spend Saturday hiking and sightseeing around the Maroon Bells. These 14,000 mountains are what make Aspen feel like the most beautiful town in Colorado. Stroll around town to experience world class shopping, art galleries and restaurants. Unfortunately, the Saturday shows have sold out, however this does not mean you cannot experience JAS on Friday and Sunday. Sometimes it is good to take a night off.
On Sunday, the music kicks off at 3 p.m. with Turkuaz. H.E.R will play at 5 p.m. and then the headliner, Sting will close down the festival with an all-out rocking performance.
There is a live auction at the event that includes an ‘On the Track Porsche Experience’ in both LA and Atlanta, along with custom mural paintings in your home and a family portrait shoot.
There are tons of food options at Jazz Aspen Snowmass. Bring your reusable souvenir cup to enjoy $1 off all cocktails with plenty of beverages to suit your fancy. Tickets are still available at http://bit.ly/2AVzdOF
Put Jazz Aspen Snowmass on your bucket list for Labor Day weekend and be sure to keep it on your radar to experience in future years. It is a weekend not to be missed with incredible music in a beautiful mountain town.
