Aspen has extended it's season for one more weekend. Originally scheduled to close on April 16, Aspen Mountain has extended through with top to bottom skiing remaining in effect through Sunday, April 23. The lifts will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., unless there's a powder day in which case they will open early. And the forecast is calling for some snow.

There's a few can't miss closing features that will be underway, including an extreme slip and slide at the top of Aspen Mountain on Saturday and Sunday from noon to 3, and high altitude hot tubbing on the deck of the sundeck from Thursday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be a DJ on the deck as well and a giant beer pong setup as well as grilling, après and live music. Bring your own swimsuit and towel.
