More Snow for Aspen

November 20, 2019

Aspen and Snowmass have a lot of exciting events and community happenings this winter.  Now is the time to get excited about the winter season that will soon be settling in.  Snow is predicted tonight and tomorrow for Aspen with hopes of double digit numbers on the mountain.  Over three feet of snow was measured in Aspen during the month October which has already created a nice base for the resorts.

Don’t forget about the PassaPalooza from my last blog post where art, culture and snow sports collide to kickoff winter at Aspen Snowmass during Passapalooza on December 13-15. Passapalooza grants access to all four Aspen Snowmass mountains for only $59 per day for skiers and riders who have a valid 2019-2020 pass from any ski resort in the world.

Have you heard of The Collective?  It is a new community center that has become the heart and soul of Snowmass Base Village.  In the space is a new restaurant concept called mix6 by an award-winning Aspen chef named Martin Oswald.  The restaurant serves lunch and dinner.  Next to mix6 is a place called MoxiBar.  They offer inventive cocktails, beers and renowned wines.  The Collective is also home to a Game Lounge with an interactive music wall, neon foosball, table tennis, an arcade that is retro-inspired, Zeigler Reservoir ball pit, a huge coloring wall, video games and more.

Add The Collective to your list to take the kids (and the big adult kids).  It is a blast and everyone in your group will have something to do.

Check out information on lodging and things to do at www.vistiingaspen.com. Options include staying at lodging properties with views of the mountain and steps away from skiing.
